HookFindr is a tool that transcribes publicly available short-form video URLs (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram Reels, X, Twitch, etc.). You give us a URL, we give you back a transcript.
5 transcripts per IP per day, plus unlimited cached transcripts (videos others have already transcribed). The free tier may have features added or removed without notice.
Unlimited transcripts and additional features as listed on the pricing page. Billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You can cancel any time from your account dashboard or by emailing us — no questions asked, no hidden cancel friction.
Within 14 days of a paid subscription start or renewal, email [email protected] for a full refund. After 14 days, refunds are pro-rated at our discretion.
API access is metered. You're responsible for managing your API keys; if you leak one publicly we'll rotate it and the cost of any unauthorized usage during the leak is your responsibility. We log API usage for billing and abuse prevention.
Best effort. We aim for 99% uptime but don't guarantee it. Free tier comes with no SLA. Paid tier failures we make right (refund or extended service) at our discretion. Enterprise tier comes with a written SLA.
You are responsible for what you do with transcripts. We don't pre-screen content. If you're transcribing copyrighted material to use it commercially, that's between you and the rightsholder — not our problem.
If you believe a cached transcript on our service infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with the URL hash and we'll remove it from cache promptly.
We may update these terms. Material changes get notified to active subscribers by email. Continued use after a change means you've accepted it.
We can terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can terminate yours any time. On termination we delete your account data within 30 days, except where retained for legal/billing reasons.
